Thanks for joining us this successful 2022-2023 full season. We now take a break and enjoy the great outdoors our long summer days offer.

There were 84 people joining us this season. We are glad to see many of our new friends returned as regulars. We look forward to see everyone again as we resume on September 12. We have secured 23 dates at Georges Vanier in the fall/winter term; and the spring term dates will be released later this fall. We will post the calendar the first week of September.

In the meantime, there is a great selection of summer sports and activities offered by our friends in the LGBTQ+ community:

Apollo Badminton is proud to support the 39th Western Cup, and we are giving away swag and prizes in celebration of this annual event.

Pick up your complimentary single drop-in pass at each Western Cup event night while supply lasts. These event nights will be the Thursday night Registration, Friday night Athlete Social, and Saturday night Western Cup Dance. All Western Cup events will take place at the Hyatt Regency Calgary — the host hotel.

In addition, at the Athlete Social on Friday night, you’ll have a chance to win two badminton prize packs as part of the raffle draw.

There is a venue update on Feb 21 and we will be playing at Father Lacombe High School. We will visit this school on two more dates in March and May. This school features six courts in the main gym. We thank Meno for setting this up!

Simply come Tuesday and we’ll confirm your online purchase, and we’ll mark off your attendance and if required, issue you a punch pass. It’s that simple!
